Samba

Samba is the most popular Latin dance; it is a very lively and entertaining dance characterised by expressive hip and body movements. It is danced to in 2/4 or 4/4 timing; the basic movements are counted either one-two or one-and-two.

Even though the Ballroom Samba originates from the traditional Brazilian Samba, these two samba dance styles significantly differ.
